Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a gem with lovely rooms that feel like little cottages. The breakfasts are one of the best I've had in a long time. The service was accommodating and welcoming, making our stay very pleasant. The location, though a bit out of the way, offers gorgeous and peaceful surroundings. The dining experience was good, though lacking some variety. Overall, a wonderful and scenic place to stay.
The hotel is set in a beautiful location with good dining opportunities. The rooms are clean, spacious, and offer good value for money, located right in front of the pub offering a variety of beer and food. The service is top-notch, with extremely polite and helpful staff, even going the extra mile to provide advice. The location, though a bit out of the way, boasts gorgeous surroundings full of history and friendly staff. Dining services are excellent, provided with great service to both room and local customers. However, the dining options feature small, square hamburgers.
The hotel is housed in an interesting old building, offering beautiful and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and plenty of lovely towels, though it was still a bit chilly. The service was amazing, with attentive staff who took care of every detail and made the stay enjoyable. The location is a suntrap, perfect for a relaxing glass of wine while watching the sunset, ideal for visitors to the NEC or those looking for a quiet stroll. The dining experience was fantastic, especially the full English breakfast, but could improve with a wider selection and more consideration for dietary needs. Overall, a superb stay with excellent service and lovely surroundings.
